Outbreak of HPAI in Jhapa district of Nepal.

HPAI outbreak in Saranamati VDC of Jhapa district of Nepal was successfully controlled by stamping out of all birds within the infected area. All farms/ poultry sheds within infected area (after calling of birds) have been cleaned and disinfected. Post Operative Surveillance activities within and out side of infected areas is implemented and to be continued for next 90 days. So far, no further cases of HPAI in and around the surveillance zone is detected.
